The final journey home of chief Mrs Felicia Aderemi Ilaka,the mother to ladilu of Oyo kingdom,Chief Bisi Ilaka, begins on Wednesday 18th December 2024 with lying in state at her residence.
The lying in state began early in the morning of Wednesday while service of songs was held at the Ilupeju recreational Hall by All saints’ Church, yaba in the evening.
Commendation service will be held on Thursday 19th in the morning at All Saint Church Montgomery Road,Yaba Lagos.
In the evening of Thursday mama’s body will be moved to Ijebu Ijesa, Osun State where mama hailed from, in the evening of that day Christian wake keep will be held at Saint Mathew’s Church Ijebu Ijesa.
The final journey of mama Felicia Aderemi Ilaka who was born in 9th September 1933- dead in 26th August 2024 will begins with funeral service at Saint Mathew’s Church,Ijebu Ijesa osun state at 10am on Friday 20th 2024 of which he will be interred after service.
In her life time mama felicia Aderemi Ilaka was honoured with different chieftancy titles due to her contribution to community development among the chieftancy titles honoured with are Iyalode Of Oyo,Yeyelaje of Ijebu Ijesa,YeyeLejofi of Ilesha and Iya Oba of Ikeji Ile.
The guests will be hosted at zenababs Half Moon Resort, ilo, Ijesa, osun State.
Mama Felicia Aderemi Ilaka was survived by children,grandchildren, and greatgrand children. Among children are late Nahtania, Forstina, kofo, Kunle, Bisi ilaka, and Tunde.
