The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated his Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.
He said Ayinde, who has served as his Chief of Staff for two consecutive terms, has demonstrated high-level leadership qualities, performance, and competence in fulfilling his duties.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a congratulatory message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, described Ayinde, who turns 62 on Monday, as a dependable and trusted partner in the ‘Greater Lagos’ agenda.
He noted that his Chief of Staff is an asset to his administration, noting that his loyalty, selflessness, and hard work are rare qualities you find among occupants of such offices but are present in him.
The Governor added that Mr. Ayinde is a God-fearing and a quintessential gentleman who has contributed significantly to the growth and development of Lagos State as a member of the State Executive Council.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also commended his Chief of Staff’s contributions to the success of his administration in governance and politics, acknowledging his role in the last two general elections and during the past seven years of his administration.
He said: “On behalf of my adorable wife, Ibijoke, family, the government, and the good people of Lagos State, as well as the State Executive Council and all staff in my office, I join family, friends, political associates, leaders, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, to celebrate my Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, on his 62nd birthday.
“My Chief of Staff is a reliable, trusted, loyal, and hardworking gentleman and partner in the Greater Lagos agenda. He is a committed public servant who has displayed a high level of competence, accountability, and transparency in public office.
“Mr. Tayo Ayinde is a beacon of grassroots mobilisation and support, hard work, loyalty and sincerity. He is a man of integrity, diligence and a model of excellence. He is worth celebrating because of his remarkable impact in our dear Lagos State and Nigeria.
