The suspect deals on food stuff at animal kingdom market, close to Seme Border area of Lagos state
According to the suspect who accused the minor of being wizard said that since one year now she bought the victim from village she never have peace
Speaking further, she said that all my properties have damage by this boy there is no day he will not destroy my property in the house.
He is still in primary one, he goes to school he will not enter inside the classroom, all his notebooks and textbook are torn off by this boy. I have taking this boy to many spiritual home for deliverance yet he keep destroying things in the house.
One day he told me there is one thing that always wear back cloth and come to the house to disturb him.
Before this incident I called my brother, his father that I am bringing this boy back to him since I can not couple with he any longer, but my brother pleaded with me that i should still bear with him .
My brother told me he has done consultation through traditional way to know what is the problem of the boy that he was told he is possess by evil spirit which he need to carry out sacrifice for him before he will be free from the evil spirit.
The commissioner of police Lagos state command, Edgal Imohimi,who paraded the suspect said that the case was reported by neighbor who heard when the boy was screening for help after his aunts assaulted him and tight him up with rope and left for his business.
Edgal said that the victim Chinonye Iyonetu, who from Imo state was brought to Lagos sometime in 2016 by his aunts to stay with his father elder sister after his mother abandoned him and left to unknown place.
He said,the suspect always maltreat him and accused him of a wizard .So on 9th of May at about 0900hrs, the suspect use horse whip (koboko) to flog the little boy and inflicts injuries all over his boy .
It was help of the neighbor who called police and police team arrived were his was lock up at his aunt one room apartment and broke the door and rescued him. The suspect would be charged to the special and sexual offences court as soon as investigation is concluded.
