All Protocols are duly observed, most especially to the Founding Fathers and Elders of our great Club. The Young Shall Grow are also heartily recognized. This is a very unique occasion tagged (3-In-One) Celebration in the Year 2018. I crave your indulgence to explain the rationale behind this special appellation.
Number One, Today is a Thanksgiving Ceremony. Since February 10, 2017 when the Incumbent Sitting President was SELECTED by the (Maiden) Guardian Council. I pledged to host all BLESSED MEMBERS every February 14 @ my own expense as a token of appreciation for the selection as the first ever POTEC (President of the Eko Club) under Article 35 of the new Constitution as amended 2014. I shall for ever remain grateful for the special assignment.
Number Two, Worldwide the VALENTINE DAY is in itself a celebration of love and unity. The EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE of the NDA (New Dawn Administration) is of the view that the EKO CLUB FAMILY richly deserves such a celebration, primarily in honour of the Founding Fathers for their dream and vision over the past Forty-Four (44) Years ago in the Year 1974.
Number Three, the last Initiation Ceremony in the Eko Club took place on Saturday 27th February, 2016. That was exactly two (2) Years ago. The original plan of the present administration was to hold one last year, OCTOBER. It was later deferred to DECEMBER but due to logistics and our preference for all due process, the timing was shifted to JANUARY. The EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE finally opted for a merger with the VALENTINE’S DAY as a 3–In–One befitting programme to honour the brand New Blessed Members under the NDA (New Dawn Administration).
As a result we have also opted for the very best by the choice of KING SUNNY ADE of the universe and a charming and very prosperous OBA @ Age 42 as the seal of all the arrangements, HRM Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, KUSENLA III, our PATRON Designate.
