Festus Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has been appointed by the President Muhammadu Buhari campaign organisation as its spokesperson ahead of the 2019 general election as confirmed by a letter signed by Rotimi Amaechi.
Amaechi, the transport minister and former governor of Rivers state, is the director-general of the organisation, which targets Buhari’s success at the polls in 2019.” “I am pleased to convey to you the decision of the President Muhammadu Buhari campaign organisation to appoint you as director, strategic communications in respect of the forthcoming campaign for the 2019 Presidential elections. “As you are aware, President Muhammadu Buhari is seeking the nomination of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) as candidate for the said election. “Your appointment is to aid in getting that nomination and to ensure the success of the subsequent campaigns for the 2019 presidential election”,the appointment letter reads.
