A Chieftain of the APC in Lagos State, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku famously known as Baba Eto has described the campaign of calumny launched against him by supporters of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode as a last minute struggle of a drowning man.
Reacting to videos of him commending Governor Ambode, Baba Eto said, ” that is to show that when you obey party directives, we commend and when you turn against the party, we disown you.
“The Party is Supreme, so how can any individual wage war against the party and expect to win? As far as we are concerned, no retreat, no surrender, no compromise!
“Aso o b’Omoye mo,Omoye ti rin hoho woja”.(It’s too late to cry over spilled milk).
Again during the parley with former Executive Secretaries (ES) in all the 20 local government and 37 LCDA in Lagos state, they unanimously agreed to support the aspiration of Sanwoolu to become the next Governor of Lagos state come 2019 ,this meeting was held at watercress hotel Ikeja with Tayo Ayeni Director General Babajide Olusola Sanwo olu Campaign Organisation (BOSCO) and some APC party chieftains in attendant.
Meanwhile the former Executive Secretaries (ES) expressed their displeasure with Governor Ambode’s stlye of leadership and administration.
