It is no longer news that the multi-million naira Bola Tinubu Diagnostic Centre and the Renal Centre at Gbagada General Hospital are equipped with state of the art equipment one can think of anywhere in the world.
Integrity reporters’ findings shows that the two centres have been under lock and key since the inception of the Ambode administration. Investigations indicate that most of the equipment have been rotting away while many of the staff have been sacked, though it was contracted out to a firm.
Lagosians with health challenges have no choice than to patronise private clinics where they are forced to pay far more than what they would in government-owned centres, this they claimed has added to the hue and cry of the people.
