Federal Road Safety Commission’s Outpost in Apomu, Isokan Local government, was commissioned yesterday, 18th of May, 2022. The event, a massive achievement facilitated by HRM Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi was graced by top dignitaries within and outside the Community.
His Royal Majesty, Alapomu of Apomu kingdom expressed his joy over the success of the commissioning and narrated some hurdles he underwent in achieving the feat. He therefore enjoined road users to cooperate with the Federal Roads Safety Corps members in the course of discharging their national duties.
Commandant Okpe appreciated kabiyesi for the herculean efforts he made which eventually culminated to the approval of an Outpost in Apomu.
The Local Government Chairman, Hon Akinremi Maroof, expressed his delight over the development and thanked all those who contributed to make the commissioning events a success.
The President-General, Apomu Descendants Union; Bashorun Soliu Abass, represented by the Secretary-General, Prof Tesleem Asafa, appreciated Kabiyesi for facilitating the project and gave kudos to ADU members for their immense contribution towards the project. He also acknowledged the support of other well meaning individuals in the town.
