A man in Kenya’s Bungoma County has physically fought with his wife because of his habits of controlling food in the house.
The man, who is from Nalondo village, Kabuchai constituency in Bungoma, has been rationing food for his wife at home, a thing that threatened their five-year marriage.
It’s alleged that he controlled the food in the house by closely monitoring the levels of their maize flour in the house.
So, after a neighbour visited and the wife decided to cook lunch with the husband away, there was trouble when he returned and found his “Unga-levels” not where he had marked them.
His wife tried to explain but he would hear none of that.
A heated disagreement between them resulted into a physical fight. His wife has since left after the incident.
