The Executive Chairman of Orile-Agege Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Hon. Johnson Babatunde has been nominated for Integrity Award in the Good Governance.
Integrity Award is from the stable Integrity Newspaper, a print and online news medium.
Johnson’s nomination is the subject of a press statement issued by the the publication’s publisher, Mr. Wale Ogunniran.
In it, Ogunniran said, Babatunde’s nomination for Good Governance Award is on the back of his excellent performance in office in the last five and half years, adding that the award aimed at achieving two goals: to reward responsible leadership and encourage him to continue in his way.
He explained that the medium arrived at the choice of the Orile-Agege Chairman after months of painstaking research on elected public officials’ performances in Lagos.
“In an era when public officials’ performances are nothing to write home about. One person stands out with a different narrative, the Executive Chairman of Orile-Agege, Johnson Babatunde.
“He is called Mr Project by his admirers because of the many sensible landmark projects his administration carried out including hospitals.
“He is a reference point for how to be a public office holder.”
The statement added that Babatunde will be conferred with the award on Wednesday, November 30 at Orile-Agege Secretariat.
