Medical doctor-turned-traditional ruler, the Osile of Oke- Ona, Abeokuta, HRH (Dr.) Adedapo Tejuoso Karounwi was in gay mood few days back in his domain when he gave one of his darling wives, Olori Olabisi Tejuoso a grandiose 60th birthday bash.
As early at 12 noon, dignitaries from all strata of life, thronged the venue of the event held at The Cathedral of St. James African Church, Idi -Ape, Abeokuta, to celebrate with the Kabiyesi and his wife, who were resplendent in very royal attires, just like the other two wives of the born-again king.
At the reception of the event held at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Gov. Ibikunle Amosun showered encomiums on Olori Olabisi who received award and gifts from well wishers.
Among the dignitaries at the grand event were the State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, his wife, Mrs. Olufunsho Amosun, former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Sarafa Tunji Ishola, Senator (Prince) Lanre Tejuoso. Royal fathers present were the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, the Olu of Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, Alaperu of Iperu Remo, Oba Adeleke Idowu Basibo, Abepa of Joga Orile, Oba Adegboyega Adekeye, among other monarchs in the state.
Olori Olabisi, while thanking Oba Tejuoso at the reception for celebrating her birthday with her, said “I thank my darling hubby; you are my Jewel of inestimable value, same for all the distinguished guests, royal fathers and my extended family members.”
