Oyo State Road Transport Management Agency(OYRTMA) has rescued crash victims involved in multiple accidents that occurred in Ibadan on Wednesday night and Thursday.
The first accident occurred at Ijaye in which a car skidded off the road and fell into a river. Another accident also occurred at Orogun Express, along UI-Ojoo Expressway and while the third accident occurred at Ogunpa bridge along Odo Ona Kekere, Oluyole local government area.
The Executive Chairman of the agency, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi disclosed this to Integrity Reporters in Ibadan.
He said the accident at Ijaye happened on Wednesday night while the two others happened on Thursday and it involved eight people.
Fagbemi posited that though there were no deaths recorded, all the passengers sustained serious injuries.
He said: “The victims of the two accidents at Orogun and Odo Ona Kekere were jointly rescued by men of the Federal Road Safety Commission and Oyo State Road Transport Management.”
“The injured victims were taken to University College Hospital for medical treatment and the road obstruction cleared”
