Ronke Champion Donates One Million Naira to Baseball Tournament in Ibadan
Ronke Champion Adeyemi, a US based sports enthusiast and philanthropist donates One Million Naira to fund Little League baseball tournament in Ibadan. The tournament holds in Ibadan from December 15 to 20, 2024 and among Little League chartered teams in Nigeria. It will also be a qualifier for participation in Europe/Africa Region Tournament (June/July, 2025) and World Series in Pennsylvania, USA (August 2025).
Baseball and softball teams in four divisions have lined up for the tournament.
The organisers have received entries from Badagry Angels, Adekalu Bulls, Divine Warriors, Olubadan Warriors and Alara Little League of Ara, Osun State.
