The Nigerian Senate has rejected President Muhammadu Buhari’s $29.6bn External Borrowing Plan.
The Senate made the announcement via its Twitter handle, @NGRSenate on Tuesday.
Giving more details via their Twitter handle, the Senate said the request for approval for external borrowing was turned down “due to lack of documents supporting the request as referenced in the letter.”
