According to him the market as it is presently, constitute an eye sore and is not befitting the Mega City status of Lagos state.
According to him, the new designed is to accommodate modern facilities to enhance easy buying and selling.
He also said, adequate security arrangements to guarantee security of lives and properties are in place.
He stated further that when completed, the current occupiers would be given rights of first purchase at a discount rate.
He solicited for the cooperation of all the stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.
Finally he expressed appreciation to the Governor of Lagos State Akinwumi Ambode for His vision in transforming the state to a mega city saying the company will always work in line with that vision.
