Nigerian Tribune Newspapers tourism Editor, Ambassador. Wale Ojo-Lanre, has been confirmed for the Distinctive Leadership and Resilient in Travel and Tourism Journalist of the Year 2018 award.
This was contained in the letter sent to the recipient by the main organizing committee of tourism transport tagged summit and Expo 2019 which was made available to our correspondent.
The letter reads in part, “Sir, you were earlier nominated as one of the eligible recipients for the award, and after a careful and
thorough evaluation by the panel, we are pleased to inform you that you have been approved and confirmed to receive the award: “Distinctive Leadership and Resilient in Travel and Tourism Journalist of the Year 2018”.
The event, slated for Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, is a networking cocktail/full dinner recognition nite, designed as a platform to recognize and award the role of key leaders in the socio-economic development of tourism and transport industries in Nigeria.
