The Inspector General of Police Intelligence Reponse Team (IRT), nabs Seventy-nine-year old man who supplied materials to gangs of armed robber and kidnapping groups that have been terrorising motorists on the Abuja-kaduna -Kano Expressway.
Mr Riba (aka Baba Wakili) and his accomplices are in police custody for alledgedly Sell AK47 Rifles and Military Uniforms to armed robbers and Kidnappers .
The suspect were alleged by the police to have Supplied no fewer than 5 AK47 Rifles to the Kidnappers and later collect Percentage from the ransom collected from their victims.
Security Monitor gathered he was arrested by the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team ( IRT ).
He also confessed to have been leading many Kidnapping and robbery activities that have going on along Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressways.
The suspects were paraded by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) CSP Jimoh Moshood, Jere town, Kaduna State.
CSP Jimoh said eight AK47 Rifles and Several locally made pistols, ammunition including Military Uniforms were recovered from the suspects.
