Head Coach of Iyaloja United Football Club of Igando, Mohammed Aberejo has warned Tailgate Football Club of Ejigbo to prepare for tough war when both clash at Ejigbo sports centre, Lagos on Wednesday in the week one of the Alimosho Coaches Football League which kicks off today at various centres in Alimosho and its environs.

The competition which was put together by Alimosho Football Coaches Council featuring twelve teams battling for honour.Tailgate FC would host Iyaloja United Football Club of Igando at home which promises to be a tough encounter.

Aberejo in a chat with our correspondent boasted that he is not ready to lose their first match against Tailgate FC saying that the home team should forget the three points at stake. He said his players are in high spirits and ready to take their opponents to cleaners.

“We are going to Ejigbo to go and pick our three points at stake. I have respect for our opponents but our first game against them is must win for me and they should forget the three points because my players are in best form of their game now,” he said.

Aberejo said his players are well motivated and they are ready to give their best to ensure that they come out victorious. He said anything short of victory against their opponents is a temporarily setback for the team.

“We are targeting three away victories in the league and one of the matches is Tailgate FC so if we fail to pick the maximum three points against our opponents, it would be a temporary setback for the team which it may affect the players psychologically in their subsequent matches,” he said.

Meanwhile Chairman Organizing Committee, Samuel Eke has expressed satisfaction with the team’s readiness for the league. He said all the teams have met the league requirements and wished all of them best of luck in their outings.
