Chief Tunde Fanimokun celebrates life @ 80

Fanimokun, the seasoned administrator, technocrat, and developmental economist, is celebrating his 80th year on this earth!

Fanimokun, known as the “super permanent secretary,” earned this title due to his remarkable efficiency and effectiveness in his official duties, particularly in managing land in Lagos State. He worked closely with the late Lateef Kayode Jakande when he was the governor of Lagos State.

A small yet modest birthday party was organized by his children to honor their father and show their appreciation.

After retiring from his unblemished service in Lagos State, Chief Tunde Fanimokun served the Folawiyo Group for forty years as a Director of Project.

Fanimokun spearheaded various developmental projects in Lagos, including the development of the Oniru estate, where he served as the chairman of the management committee of the Oniru traditional council. He was also involved in establishing of British International School (BIS) as pioneer chairman on a large space of Oniru land, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Fanimokun is known for his expertise as a developmental economist, his role as a Lagos high chief, and his active involvement in social circles.
