The Lagos Legislative Forum, the umbrella body for former Honourable members of the Lagos State House of Assembly numbering over 100 veteran legislators at their recent meeting decided to put their weight behind Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential ambition and as well as the second term bid of Governor Sanwoolu and the return of the Rt.Hon Speaker back to the leadership of the Lagos Assembly.
In his comment,the spokesman of the body;Hon Ahmed Ipoola Omisore,who also double as the ICC Director of Political engagement & Legislative Matters,commended the group,that spread into every corner of the state for the hardwork they have been putting into the drive to sensitize our people to make them collect their PVC.He further urged them not to stop until our party’s presidential candidate wins but ending up recording a landslide victory never recorded in the state.He urged all to see the task before all as a payback for our National leader,having been there for hundreds of political class in Lagos and Nigeria in general.
Maintained that nothing could be enoght to support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In the same vein,at the Forum’s meeting hosted by Hon.Tajudeen Agoro held on Sunday at Eko club Surulere,attended by over 100 members of the group chaired by Rt.Hon Fasina,a one-time Deputy speaker,urged all to work assiduously as fathers and leaders in their constituency,in conjunction with the former House of Representatives and former Councillors within their constituencies to ensure victory at the polls for our Presidential,Gubernatorial and all Parliamentarians especially our Speaker;Rt.Hon Obasa.
Among resolutions reached at the meeting was for a committee of five(5)to arrange a formal meeting of the over 100 strong Legislative Forum membership to have a meeting with His Excellency Governor Sanwoolu and Rt.Speaker Mudashiru Obasa,the coming week.
The meeting ended by raising funds to produce banners and billboards for Asiwaju,Sanwoolu and Rt.Hon Obasa.All the banners and billboards are to be positioned at strategic positions across the state.
