Friday’s attack came six days after the same armed gang stormed Uwheru and destroyed about 12 houses, causing villagers to flee the community.
The injured persons were said to have been rushed to the Central Hospital, Ughelli, yesterday, for treatment.
In the past two months, Uwheru community has been locked in a power tussle between two powerful sons of the communities.
