Barely two months ago fire outbreak that wreck havoc in the NNPC pipeline Ile-Ekpo-Ekoro, Abule egba area of Lagos, lives and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed
Another massive explosion suspected to be caused by pipeline carrying petroleum products, rocked Lagos again on Sunday morning has led to the destruction of lives and properties in some areas within the state.
Integrity reporters newspaper learnt that residents of Ijegun, Ikotun, Egbeda, Abule Ado, Okota, Isheri Olofin, FESTAC, Satellite Town were affected by the explosion.
A resident from Festac said that most roof of our building is off and a nearby school is on fire .
Confirming the incident, an official of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) said it is a pipeline explosion around Abule Ado in Amuwo Odofin local government area of the state.
The Federal Fire Service and its men were yet on ground still making efforts to get information on the incident as of the time filing the report.
